Back to the Basics

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth. Now, the Earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep...(Genesis 1:1-2). In the beginning, there was nothing. Many people want to go into a new year, a new You. Funny how they tend to carry the baggage from the previous flight with them. In order to lighten that load, you have to learn to let some things go. You can't hold on to them forever, but some people try to, and they succeed. Back to the Basics means getting back to the roots. The importance of growth is derived from the roots. How they are fed, treated, nourished, tamed and cared for are the things needed for basic growth. In most cases today, family is where we must start.

It takes a village to raise a child. A saying still true to this day. How can we have a village when all we do is tear down? How can we build that trust in the village when all we do is slither here and there with poison on our tongues? How can we build that strong village when we can't even trust our own blood or those closest to us? Families have to get better. We have to build better relationships with each other instead of destroying the next person. Building strong foundations is the key to any high rise building. If the foundation cracks or fails, the building will sink and slowly deteriorate or all come crashing down at once. In that aspect, you either get a slow death or quick one. We have to remember our ancestors when it comes to villages and strong foundations. We have to know and understand their struggles. Their struggles weren't just for them, but for us as well.

Basic care, love, compassion, strength has all dwindled down the drain. Consumption of basic necessities has been disqualified from the game. It has turned into every man for himself. The split, is what it has created. Just as in the last Presidential election for the US. the Democratic Party was split up with two good candidates. Trust, it wasn't a coincidence, it was set up to split the strength and voice of the people. Not by coincidence, but by strategy. Let's not be a strategic experiment that somehow follows the old Willie Lynch letters. With that being said, we have to build strong family foundations first. We have to build from the ground up, but trickle from the top. We have to, get Back to the Basics.
